These carrot chips are so easy to prepare and are so delicious that I bet they will be a faithful companion to your snacks this summer.
I accompany them with a delicious avocado cream that is made with yogurt and that also looks great with semi-whipped cream.
I hope you like them as much as we do. Here you have the video – click here
Ingredients
- 3 Carrots
- 2 teaspoons of your favorite spices
- Extra virgin olive oil to paint them
- 90 g grated Grana Padano cheese
Directions
Peel and cut the carrots into pieces of about 5 centimeters and cut them in half lengthwise.
Boil for 30 minutes until they are well softened.
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Place them on a baking tray with baking paper, and placing a piece of baking paper on top (which will make the glass not stick), we crush them with the help of a sprout or a glass so that the pressure is equal throughout the carrot and are very finite
We brush them with a little oil and cover with the grated Grana Padano.
Bake them for 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy. We can also do them in air fryer at 180 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the avocado mouse. Crush the avocado and add the finely chopped onion, the zest of half a lime and its juice and a little tabasco or chili flakes. Add the yogurt and mix well.
Serve the chips with the avocado cream.
