These crispy chicken wings are my son's favorites because they're delicious and mine because they're so easy to prepare.

The secret is a handful of idos that we crush finely. To do this I always use my grandmother's coffee grinder that always puts the smile on my face. If you do not have a grinder or food processor, you can put them in a bag and hit them with a wooden roller until they are in small pieces. The more crushed the kilos, the better they will adhere to the chicken pieces, so I prefer to crush them and make them powder.

I have used chicken wings but you can use the pieces that you like the most although it is better to cut them into small pieces so that they take little time to make.

I have prepared them in airfryer and oven, so that you can make them at home as you have one thing or another. In either case

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 120 g of crushed kilos
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • a pinch of salt
  • a little freshly ground black pepper

For the barbecue sauce with honey:

  • 125 ml tomato sauce
  • 125 ml honey
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice

For the yogurt sauce

  • 125 ml plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 piece of cucumber, chopped
  • a few chopped mint leaves
  • salt and pepper

Directions

We can prepare them in an oven or in an air fryer

To make the wings in the oven:

Preheat the oven to 210 C.

We cover a baking sheet with baking paper.

Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the chicken and move well to cover.

In a separate deep dish, mix the crushed kilos, paprika and a pinch of salt and pepper.

We pass the chicken by the kilos, covering it completely. Put on the prepared tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning it over halfway through the cooking.

Just before the chicken finishes cooking, we prepare the sauce. In a saucepan mix all the ingredients of the sauce and heat over low heat until all are integrated.

Serve with the chicken and the sauce very hot.

To make the wings in the air fryer:

Preheat the fryer to 200 degrees

In a separate deep dish, mix the crushed kilos, paprika and a pinch of salt and pepper.
