This hummus has entered the list of favorites of the aperitif at home and is that the hummus is perfect as a starter or as an accompaniment of salads.

Even as an accompaniment to fish and meats, such as roast chicken, it is delicious.

You can accompany it with crackers, and especially with raw vegetables, with toasted and chopped pitas and as today with scolding and some fresh cheese

For hummus

  • 400g cooked chickpeas
  • 100ml olive oil plus 2 tablespoons for garnish
  • 90ml water
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 20g toasted sesame
  • 2 teaspoons Tahini Home
  • 60g dried tomatoes plus 2 to decorate
  • 6-8 large basil leaves plus 2 more to decorate

To accompany

  • diced fresh cheese or mozzarella
  • carrots cut into sticks
  • 1 pack of scolding

Drain the chickpeas and add all the ingredients in a bowl of cooking robot. Crush at full power until smooth and fine, thick puree. Rectify salt and cumin powder if necessary.
