Ingredients

For shrimp

  • 500 g shrimp
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • A few sprigs of fresh chopped parsley
  • 100 ml white wine
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

For the spaghetti

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 60 g butter
  • The zest and juice of a lemon

Directions

We start by preparing the shrimp. We season them with salt and pepper on both sides and lightly coat them in oil. In a frying pan with a little oil, fry the shrimp over high heat for a few seconds on each side.

We remove and in the same oil we brown the finely chopped garlic. Once golden, return the shrimp and add the wine and parsley and bring to a boil. We reserve.

We put plenty of water with salt to cook. When it comes to a boil, cook the pasta al dente.

Meanwhile, in a frying pan, heat the oil with half of the butter. We add the zest and juice of a lemon. We rotate the pan for a minute to emulsify the sauce. When it has thickened slightly, add the pasta with the rest of the butter and 3 tablespoons of the cooking water.

We stir a few times and serve with the prawns with their sauce on top.

Tips and Tricks

  • We can make the sauce before and add it to the pasta when you are going to eat it.
