This salmon and avocado roll with crab is a perfect recipe to take as an aperitif when you feel like it, although it is my proposal for this Valentine's Day.

It is very easy and you can freeze it and the mayonnaise gives it a unique touch that you will love.

You can make homemade mayonnaise or you can use ready-made mayonnaise and mix the rest of the ingredients.

Ingredients
For the salmon roll
  • 250 g smoked salmon
  • 1 avocado
  • 60 g drained natural crab
  • 1/2 spring onion
  • a bit of fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 boiled egg
  • a few drops of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon crème fraiche or cream cheese
  • a few drops of tabasco (optional but the spicy one suits you great)
  • Pepper
  • Salt

For the mayonnaise

  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml mild oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • a little mustard
  • a few branches of chopped dill

For decorating the cake

  • Salmon roe
  • a few sprigs of dill

Directions

Place a sheet of plastic wrap on the worktop and cover with the smoked salm ́pon forming a rectangle.

In nun bowl we put the avocado ny with the help of a fork crush it, os. Add the lemon juice and mix again. Add the crab, spring onion and hard-boiled egg and mix again. Season and add the crème fraiche and tabasco. Mix again

Put the avocado filling on the edge of the salmon. Roll on the salmon with the help of plastic wrap. Close the roll and let it rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

Prepare the mayonnaise with all the ingredients and go to a bottle. Cut the salmon roll into wheels about 2 cm thick. Decorate with mayonnaise, salmon roe and a sprig of dill.
