This soupy rice has made mine happy today tuesday at home and it is so easy that you can not resist.

A rice of use of what you have left in the fridge that you will love

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 350 g rice
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 leek
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1 grated tomato
  • some saffron
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 150 g chicken breast
  • 150 g of Iberian secret
  • 150 g pork loin
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 liter and a half chicken or meat broth

Directions

In a saucepan we put the oil to heat. Add the chopped garlic and let it brown gently. Add the onion and leek very chopped and let it fall until they are soft.

Add now the red pepper sauté and add the meat. We take a few laps until the meat is well browned and almost cooked.

Now add the grated tomato with the paprika and saffron, and let the tomato cook. Add the white wine and let the sauce thicken slightly.

Add the rice and sauté for a couple of minutes. Cover with the broth and let cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. After this time cover and let stand 5 minutes more and enjoy!
