These are the most original and rich potatoes that I have tasted in a long time and so easy that we make them a lot at home.
You only need potatoes, an oven-safe container and some grated cheese. The rest is done by the oven for us.
And to top off a roasted garlic sauce that will make you touch the sky with your fingertips because far from the aioli, this sauce is very easy and very tasty and much softer than traditional aioli.
Ingredients
- 500 g small potatoes
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon of your favorite spices
- 100 g grated cheese Topo Grana Padano
Directions
Cut the potatoes in half. Put a baking paper on a container suitable for the oven. Grease it with a little oil. Cover the bottom with grated cheese and spices. Put the potatoes on top with the skin facing up, covering the bottom well.
We take half a head of garlic and wrap it in aluminum foil. We put it together with the potatoes in the oven and bake at 220 degrees for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
To prepare the sauce, in a bowl we crush the roasted garlic, oil, salt and egg, and with the help of a hand mixer, we make a mayonnaise.
When the potatoes are tender, take them out of the oven, serve them with the sauce and enjoy!
Tips and Tricks
- We can make a mayonnaise without garlic or flavor it with fresh herbs
- It's delicious freshly made

You have to cook them beforehand, right?
Hi Tere, these are yes but if you want you can not cook them and leave them longer in the oven.
A hug,

Hi, thanks for this recipe, I made them on Sunday, my grandson loved them,
Do you think they could freeze? He's studying abroad and I have to prepare food for him for the whole week, could you answer me please??,
Thank you very much, best regards
Hello María Clores, how light that you liked them. Potatoes are not the perfect food to freeze. They have a lot of water so when you freeze them they will be soft and you will lose that crunch. Unless your grandson has an oven and can put them back in the oven for a while, I wouldn't recommend that you freeze them. It's like French fries, they lose all their fun.
A hug and happy day,
