By now everyone knows that travel It is one of the most pleasant things to my. I always love to enjoy that moment. Despite the fatigue of travel, change hours schedule if it exists and the nervousness, landing at the airport and crossing the gate that leads me to another adventure, this is one of the best moments of the travel. If that moment takes you to a country so incredibly exciting as Myanmar (formerly Burma), then the feeling of adventure is double.
From here, visa cannot be processed so that when the traveler arrives at the airport of Yangon (Yangon), is when you have to ask for. The fun of my case is that after a long wait, they returned to us passports, but on the visas did not appear our names, if not those of other passengers. The first thing we visited after reaching the city and a brief stint at the hotel, was the stupa of Shwedagon Payalocated in a set of temples. According to tradition, two brothers merchants met with Buddha and received eight out of their hair, so they were enthroned in Burma. The two brothers, with the help of the local King, came to the hills Singuttara where other relics were already and built the stupa that is visible from all points of the city.
To absorb the magic place, you must visit Temple in counter clock wise, and to do so as a Buddhist should give three full turns to the same. It will be tough because one wants to stop at every corner, each sculpture and small pagoda and enjoy everything this site offers the visitor. Temples, shrines and Buddhist figures that allude to the stations, the day of the week on which one was born and small pagodas that invite to prayer and the offering to Buddha.
I wondered why we had stop at the hotel and delay the visit of this magnificent temple, but when came the fall of the Sun I could understand that everything had been carefully planned so that twilight has caught us there: an of the sunsets amazing the world with light brilando above the dome of the stupa in 100 meters bathed in gold.
