These lemon jam puff pastry and fruit cheese are so easy to prepare that you won't stop repeating them.
The best thing is that you can prepare them all year round because you can use the of strawberry jam that you like the most depending on the season.
And you can even do like me and use a ready-made jam. They are very creamy puff pastry thanks to the cream mixture of cheese and yogurt and so easy to prepare that you won't believe it!
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of prepared puff pastry
- 100g lemon jam
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons skimmed Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- a handful of red fruits
- a little icing sugar to sprinkle
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Put baking paper together on a baking sheet. Book.
Spread the puff pastry sheet and with the help of a knife cut rectangles about 4 cm x 6 cm.
Pinch the center of each rectangle with a fork and place them on the baking sheet.
In a bowl mix the cheese with the yogurt with a spoon, so that a smooth and soft cream remains.
Cover with a teaspoon of this cream the center of each puff pastry rectangle.
Beat the egg in a bowl and using a cooking brush, paint the edges of each piece.
Bake for about 20 minutes until puff pastry is golden brown.
Cover the center of each puff pastry with lemon jam.
Garnish with a little icing sugar and some red fruits.
