With these crispy canapés of camembert we end up with the tickets for Christmas d this year. But. not because it is the last one it is the least spectacular.

They are so simple to prepare that you will make them all year round and of course you can vary the flavor because with peach or mango jam they are also brutal.

So why delay it any longer? Let's go for the recipe you have and love, you will see

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry plate
  • 1 camembert cheese
  • 1 handful of nuts
  • 1 handful of marconas almonds

For the red fruits jam

  • 100g raspberries
  • 10 g strawberries
  • 50 g currants
  • 75 ml maple syrup, or honey
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

Put all the ingredients of the jam in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 15.-20 minutes crushing with a wooden spoon to break the fruit.

When it is ready we can strain it and remove the nuggets (I did) or leave it with the nuggets depending on what you like the most. Reserve.

Cut the cheese into small pieces of about 2 cm and set aside.

In a pan, lightly brown the walnuts and almonds. Chop them into small pieces and set aside.

Spread the puff pastry dough and cut it into 12 parts: first in half vertically and in half each part and then in half vertically and in half each part.

We put in each square of puff pastry a portion of cheese. Add the chopped nuts on top and finish with a little jam

We close each square by the corners forming a small package.

Paint with beaten egg and bake at 210 degrees for about 10-12 minutes until the puff pastry is well browned.

Serve hot and if we want we can put a little more jam on top.

Tips and Tricks
